Description
The Riva AX has a 620 denier Cordura outer shell. The 620 Denier Cordura material has no Polyurethane coating. This uncoated Cordura breathes better than Denim pants. Of all the different Cordura/Kevlar blended materials this is the least breathable. The 1000 Denier Cordura breathes better than the 620. The Stretch Kevlar breathes better than the 1000 Denier and the new Mesh Kevlar material is Motoport's most breathable material. The Riva Jacket is made in all the above materials.
Features
• World's top rated, lightweight, perforated Tri-Armor that fully covers: Back, shoulders, elbow/forearms and chest. All Tri-Armor is in Velcro secured pockets and can be removed. Motoport's Tri-Armor covers more of the body that any other motorcycle apparel available. This provides the world's best coverage for over all impact protection. Tri-Armor molds to the body in 30 minutes or less. After initial break the armor becomes comfortable with no restriction of movement.
• 100 Waterproof/Windproof/Breathable Aero-Tex Liner that also has removable zip out Thermoloft insulation. The Thermoloft insulation covers the entire jacket including the sleeves. This liner can be worn as a separate jacket. With the two part liner installed the Riva will take you from -20f to 55f. Remove the insulation in the two part liner. Without insulation ride from 40f to 85f in comfort and still be 100 Waterproof/Windproof/Breathable. Zip out the liner completely and ride from 60f to 120f.
• 1.5" Scotchlite across upper back shoulders.
• Motoport new Aero-Tex Liner also has no Polyurethane coating on the face fabric. This non-coated liner allows the rider to go up even warmer in temperatures before needing to remove the liner.
• Rubber coated snaps.
• Four front pockets plus 2 hand warmer pockets along with inside zippered chest pocket.
• Velcro adjustments straps at the wrist with a zipper closure. Velcro adjustment at waist
• YKK zippers throughout.
• Universal full circumference Heavy Duty YKK zipper included that will attach pant to jacket.
• Safety Lock stitched seams (Five threads woven on the inside double stitched over the top).
• Note: Many other brands of jacket sleeves can be too long. These other jackets will just wrinkle up at the sleeve cuffs. If you can unzip the sleeve and pull the cuffs past the bend in the wrist, you need to deduct this extra amount from the sleeve measurement.
